1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of video production and photography services by Pixy Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, paying a deposit, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Pixy Productions operates from Birmingham, United Kingdom, and provides services across Birmingham and the UK.
2. Services
Pixy Productions provides professional video production and photography services, including but not limited to:
• Video production (social media, promotional, explainer, corporate, podcasts)
• Photography (weddings, events, portraits, nightlife, property)
The scope of services will be agreed in writing before the project begins. Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional charges.
3. Bookings & Deposits
A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.
• Deposit amounts will be agreed at the time of booking.
• Deposits are non‑refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed deadline, usually before or on the day of delivery.
Failure to pay may result in delayed delivery or cancellation of services.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Client Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled date may be eligible for rescheduling (subject to availability).
• Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled date may result in the loss of the deposit.
• Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged up to the full agreed fee.
Pixy Productions Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide services due to illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:
• Make reasonable efforts to reschedule, or
• Provide a suitable replacement, or
• Issue a full refund of any payments made.
5. Client Responsibilities
- You must ensure access to locations, permissions, and necessary approvals for filming or photography.
• You are responsible for obtaining consent from individuals being filmed or photographed, unless otherwise agreed.
• You must inform us in advance of any restrictions, special requirements, or sensitive environments.
Pixy Productions is not responsible for issues caused by restricted access, lack of permissions, or uncooperative subjects.
6. Creative Style & Editing
- Pixy Productions maintains creative control over the style, editing, and final output.
• While reasonable revision requests are accepted, major changes outside the original brief may incur additional costs.
• We do not guarantee a specific outcome or subjective preference, as creative work is inherently interpretive.
7. Delivery & Turnaround
- Delivery timelines will be discussed and agreed before the project begins.
• Delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, client delays, late feedback) may affect delivery times.
• Final deliverables will be supplied digitally unless otherwise agreed.
8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
- Pixy Productions retains copyright of all photos and video content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Clients are granted a licence to use the content for agreed purposes (e.g. marketing, social media, website).
Pixy Productions reserves the right to use completed work for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

9. Music, Graphics & Third‑Party Assets
- Any licensed music, fonts, or graphics used will be selected at our discretion unless specified by the client.
• Licensing costs may be included or charged separately, depending on the project.
• Pixy Productions is not responsible for copyright claims arising from client‑supplied assets.
10. Liability
- Pixy Productions will take all reasonable care during service delivery.
• We are not liable for loss, damage, or failure caused by circumstances beyond our control.
• Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services provided.
11. Force Majeure
Pixy Productions shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, accidents, illness, government restrictions, or equipment failure.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
- Client information is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.
• Personal details will only be used for communication and service delivery.
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
13. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, images, videos, and branding, is the property of Pixy Productions and may not be copied or reused without permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
Pixy Productions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
